Evan Hu
AltoSante, Founder
Evan is a successful entrepreneur in the Canadian technology industry providing vision, leadership and experience to organizations ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 500. Prior to AltoSante, Evan founded Omnilogic, Maple Music and Ideaca. He is the Chair of Platform Calgary, a Founding Partner and G7 Associate at Creative Destruction Lab (CDL). and is a General Partner of the Mount Rundle venture fund that provides early-stage seed investments in CDL ventures.
Christiana Manzocco
Director of Investments, AEC
Christiana is the Director of Investments with Alberta Enterprise. During her tenure at AEC she led the growth of the Start Alberta Deal Flow Platform as well as spearheaded the 2021 Alberta Tech Deal Flow Study. She leveraged this experience during her year in Lisbon and Amsterdam working as Director of Government Marketing with Dealroom.co.
Shaheel Hooda
Founding Partner, Sprout Fund VC
Shaheel is a serial tech entrepreneur, angel investor, and Partner of Sprout Fund, a venture capital that invests in promising early-stage technology startups. He has raised over $100 million in capital throughout his career and advised close to a thousand start-up founders. In addition to managing his venture fund, he is also the Resident Mentor in 500 Global, a Silicon Valley based startup accelerator. Shaheel holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a former McKinsey strategist.
